Program Details

The program will offer 84 hours of instructional time includes Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, Drama, Cultural (Music, Drawing and Cooking) Classes. The outcome of the Program will be to teach students the value of bilingualism and excel in their “heritage language” by better understanding and presenting new vocabulary with nuances.
The max capacity is 33 students and if we have more than 35 registrations, there will be a lottery.
STARTALK best practices guide curriculum development and classroom instruction, resulting in a progressive, student-centered approach that is based on the Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century.
In an average day, students will engage in language practice focused on the cultural theme ” Nasreddin Hoca” as they interact with instructors, and each other. Daily hands-on cultural activities keep students engaged and linguistic proficiency occurs naturally as students become equipped to navigate realistic situations that they are likely to encounter in the target language.
